Unlocking secrets in Call of Duty Zombies has always been a fan-favorite tradition for players looking to gain an edge during intense survival rounds. In The Giant, players can embark on a classic collectible quest known as the Fly Trap Easter Egg to earn a powerful reward. Finding all the hidden teddy bear and monkey targets across the facility requires precision, proper preparation, and map awareness.
Activating the Secret Collectible Quest
Before you can locate any hidden items around the map, you must first power up the Pack-a-Punch machine. Upgrade your starting firearm or wall weapon so you have the required upgraded firepower to trigger the main panel.
Head to the control panel located across from the animal testing labs near the central courtyard. Shoot the panel with your Pack-a-Punched weapon to launch green glowing objects across the facility. This action officially initiates the hide-and-seek quest and spawns the target collectibles.
Locating the Balcony Teddy Bear Target
The first major target is hidden far outside the playable map boundary near the central power area. Walk over toward the power switch and look past the fence toward the tall brick building in the background.
High up on the top fire escape balcony, you will spot a teddy bear holding a classic firearm. Line up your sights carefully and shoot the bear with any weapon to destroy it. You will hear a distinct sound confirmation once the shot connects successfully.
Finding the Hidden Furnace Monkey Bomb
The second collectible target takes players into the lower industrial section near Teleporter A. Navigate inside the building into the dark furnace room where the incinerator resides.
Look inside the unlit open furnace located along the ground floor wall. Resting inside the metal chamber is a Cymbal Monkey target waiting to be destroyed. Fire a single bullet into the furnace opening to clear this second location.
Spotting the Final Water Vat Target
To finish the collectible search, travel over toward the generator housing near Teleporter C. Locate the large cooling vats filled with orange-illuminated liquid inside the room.
Because the target sits at the bottom of the vat, you will need to jump upward to get a line of sight. Shoot the hidden item while suspended in the air to complete the final requirement of the quest. Maxis will speak to confirm that all items have been successfully retrieved.
Claiming Your Annihilator Reward
After successfully shooting all three targets, head back down to the furnace room inside the hangar building. Inside the once-empty furnace, a glowing red Annihilator specialist weapon will now be sitting ready for pick up.
Equipping this high-caliber revolver gives your character immense stopping power capable of eliminating entire trains of zombies with ease. Completing this side mission also grants bonus experience points, making it an essential routine for every playthrough on The Giant.
