Triggering a Wanted status in Palworld can quickly turn a peaceful exploration trip into a chaotic survival situation. Whether you accidentally struck an innocent NPC or wandered into a restricted Wildlife Sanctuary, the Palpagos Islands Defense Force (PIDF) will pursue you relentlessly. Fortunately, several strategies exist to clear your aggressive standing and restore peace to your gaming session.
Surrendering to the PIDF Guards
The fastest and most direct way to eliminate your criminal record is to let the guards defeat you in battle. Standing still and allowing the PIDF officers to reduce your health to zero immediately resets your aggro status. After you respawn back at your base, the Wanted indicator will be entirely gone.
This strategy works best if you have item loss disabled upon death or if you are close to a safe spawn point. Players playing with strict drop-on-death penalty rules should deposit critical gear into storage before succumbing to the guards.
Flying High to Break Pursuit
If you wish to preserve your inventory without dying, escaping using a flying mount is your best alternative. Mount a flying Pal and soar directly upwards into the sky until you are far above the terrain. Because guards cannot spawn in mid-air, their pathfinding fails and the pursuit timer begins to tick down.
Maintaining height for about one to two minutes allows the game to register that you are out of combat. Once the timer expires, the Wanted text disappears from your screen and you can safely land.
Eliminating Active Witnesses
In smaller encounters, clearing your status can be achieved by taking out every guard who witnessed your offense. If you defeat the specific PIDF units tracking you before they alert secondary waves, the alert level resolves itself. However, this strategy carries significant risk because attacking additional officers can easily escalate your Wanted rank.
Using powerful Pals to handle the combat helps minimize your personal aggression counter. Alternatively, catching the pursuing PIDF infantry using Pal Spheres can instantly remove the trespassing charges in certain updates.
Exiting to the Main Menu
When environmental bugs or endless guard spawns prevent normal escape, logging out of the world provides an immediate reset. Save your progress, return to the main title screen, and reload your save file. This reinitializes the surrounding world state and clears all active aggression parameters.
Using a quick system restart saves time when surrounded by high-level guards at your main settlement. It guarantees that you can return to crafting and building without constant interference from aggressive enforcement units.
